A: The acronym “PAZ” comes from the words “Project AmaZon” which is where our headquarters is located in Brazil. It is used as a shorter, interchangeable name for our mission, PAZ Japan. In Portuguese, the word paz means “Peace,” giving the acronym “PAZ” this additional meaning.

Q: How can I be sure my donation is being used wisely by PAZ Japan?
A: One-hundred percent or your donation goes towards the fund, ministry and/or missionary you specify. As far as financial accountability, PAZ Japan is a member in good standing with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability. We do as much as we can to give you every assurance that we are making the most of every cent received to spread the Gospel.
Q: Are my donations to PAZ Japan tax deductible?
A: In both the United States and in Canada, your PAZ Japan donation is tax deductible. In addition, you will always receive a receipt from PAZ Japan for each donation, whether you donated via the web, phone or mail.
Q: When I click to see all the PAZ Japan missionaries and/or slideshows, nothing appears to happen. What’s wrong?
A: There could be two problems. Our missionary page as well as our slideshows use web technology not available in early versions of web browsers. First, make sure you have the most recent version of your web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari). Secondly, make sure to give your browser enough time to download all the information (especially if you have a slower internet connection).
